An evening with a VIEW

Springvale Evening VIEW Club meets on the fourth Monday of each month for dinner and to encourage socialisation and support.
VIEW stands for voice, interests and education of women. The organisation supports The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program.

Music in the market

Jaspora will bring Calypso vibes, high-energy soca, Jamaican reggae, Africa’s funky soukous, and hip-shaking sega and seggae music from Mauritius.

Venation in art

Five contemporary Australian artists explore the veins of histories and customs in this exhibition, though photography, tapestry and printmaking. Venation refers to the arrangement of veins, as in a leaf or in the wing of an insect.

Family fun at the library

Playing with Lego, chess, puzzles and games together can improve literacy, numeracy, spatial awareness, socially appropriate behaviour and fair play.
A parent or carer must accompany children to this free activity. Sessions are not held during school or public holidays.

Indian Film Festival

Dandenong is a satellite location for this year’s festival. Ottaal – winner of the Crystal Bear at the Berlin Film Festival – will screen at 5pm and Buddha in a Traffic Jam will at 7pm.
