Space’s future potential tapped

GREATER Dandenong Council is urging residents to have their say on the Springvale Civic Space’s future.
The council is set to move its operations into a multi-million dollar facility in Dandenong in 2014, leaving questions over what to do with the Springvale offices.
City Hall will be retained and the space will feature a library and gardens, but the community’s invited to have its say on the rest of the site.
The council wants to know what the most important facilities are on the site, what would make the area more attractive to residents, what services and facilities they’d like to see there, and what else would make the site valuable for future generations.
Visit www.greaterdandenong.com, email council@cgd.vic.gov.au, or attend an information session from 10.30am to 12.30pm this Saturday 2 December at the Springvale Library.
Call the council on 9239 5100 for more information.
