POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a Dandenong worker found an unconscious man outside his Plunkett Road workplace, between Box and Windale streets, on Monday.
He called triple zero after making the discovery about 8.10am on 4 March.
The injured man, a 57-year-old from Doncaster East, was taken to The Alfred for treatment for his injuries.
Police said the circumstances surrounding the assault remain unclear and investigators were appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
