Man charged with drug trafficking

A CRANBOURNE man, 38, will answer drug trafficking charges after police found him asleep in his car in Dandenong North on 20 June.
Constable Emily Fryters said police approached the parked car about 3am and saw drug paraphernalia inside.
A search uncovered a large quantity of methylamphetamine, known as ice, various other drugs and several thousand dollars in cash.
Const Fryters said a search warrant executed at his home later uncovered a further $5000 in cash, a small quantity of methylamphetamine and property believed to be the proceeds of crime.
Police charged the man with trafficking methylamphetamine and possessing methylamphetimine, cannabis and proceeds of crime. He was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 18 July.
