Rub shoulders with Magpie stars

By David Schout

SPORTS fans have the opportunity to wax lyrical with three of
Collingwood’s biggest footy stars in a special dinner at the Dandenong
Club this month.

Brownlow medallist Dane Swan and fellow premiership players Dale Thomas and Harry O’Brien will present Side by Side on Wednesday, August 28, giving guests some fascinating insights into the lives of leading AFL footballers.

The event includes a dinner and a show that gives everyone the chance to ask questions of the three stars.

Holders of VIP premium tickets will also be invited to meet and mingle with the stars before the dinner.

The event follows a successful 2012 show, when Swan was joined by captain Nick Maxwell and midfielder Alan Didak.

The enigmatic Swan has a big following among footy fans, who enjoy
his wit and dry humour in media interviews and on social media.

The night is a must-attend for fans who see footy in terms of black and white.

VIP premium ticket for premium dinner and show $175; regular ticket for dinner and show $75. Call 9792 196. For more details, visit dandenongclub.com.au
