Bunnings ready to run

V8 SUPERCAR champion Garth Tander joined the Bunnings Springvale team to officially open the new warehouse last weekend.
The $41 million store replaces the existing Sandown warehouse and employs more than 160 people.
Centre manager Lauren Ridgeway said team members were looking forward to lending a helping hand in the community – including through regular sausage sizzles – and would provide free DIY workshops every weekend.
“Bunnings is always looking for opportunities to contribute to local causes and we look forward to providing assistance to more Springvale community groups in the future,” she said.
The store is on the corner of Dandenong and Centre Roads, 849 Princes Highway, Springvale.
