POLICE are appealing for witnesses in a recent road-rage knife attack in Dandenong after charging a 22-year-old Cranbourne man.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Simon Ellis said two men were in a car on Frankston-Dandenong Road, waiting to turn into Greens Road, about 4.20pm on 5 February when they became involved in an argument with three men in a blue Toyota Camry.
The attackers exited their vehicle, one brandishing a knife, and assaulted the victims, a 24-year-old and a 27-year-old from Dandenong.
One suffered stab wounds to the side of his head and forearm and the other grazing and a laceration to his back.
Det Sen Const Ellis said the vehicle carrying the attackers left the scene, and police later arrested and charged a Cranbourne man with intentionally causing serious injury.
The accused is to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 1 July.
