WHERE is central Dandenong heading?
That’s the question Dandenong Retail Traders’ Association (DRTA) is asking at its next forum on Tuesday 8 April.
DRTA chairwoman Glenys Cooper said the area remained one of Melbourne’s major shopping areas despite a number of changes in recent years and increased competition from surrounding precincts.
“We are hoping to gather information and perceptions on where central Dandenong business, including retailing, is heading,” she said.
“This information will be recorded and it will assist in future programs for the association.”
The open forum and networking event is to be held at the Ramada Encore Hotel, 50 McCrae Street, Dandenong, from 6pm to about 7.30pm.
Call Ms Cooper on 0417 394 722 or 9794 9397 for more information about the forum or DRTA.
