Police search for man

By CASEY NEILL

POLICE think new information could help them find a delivery van driver who went missing from Keysborough last year.
Shiva Chauhan, 27, was last seen on Hutton Road about 5.40am on Friday 2 May, where his van was found the following day.
Cold Case and Missing Persons Squad detectives have new information to suggest a stolen maroon 2006 Toyota Camry sedan might have been involved in his suspicious disappearance.
The vehicle has the registration ULO-972 and police want to speak with anyone who saw it on the day Mr Chauhan disappeared or has information on its current whereabouts.
Mr Chauhan started his delivery route on Thursday night and was seen at a bakery on South Park Road, Dandenong South, about 12.30am the following day.
Concerns were raised later that morning when his deliveries were not made, and he failed to turn up to an arranged meeting that afternoon.
Police searched the area where the van was found about 3pm, but found nothing useful.
Mr Chauhan is described as Indian and about 177 centimetres tall with a slim build and dark-coloured straight hair.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au with any information.
