BRIGHTLY coloured powder covered every inch of Keysborough’s Tatterson Park on 7 March in celebration of Holi Mela.
The Hindu event known as the Festival of Colours also featured rides, food and entertainment.
Holi participants colour each other with dry powder in an act that equalises rich and poor, men and women and all ages.
The festival date varies every year according to the Hindu calendar but typically occurs in March.
It signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring in the northern hemisphere and a chance to repair ruptured relationships.
