Mercedes destroyed in arson attack

A NEW Mercedes has gone up in smoke on a vacant block in Dandenong South.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Tony Lavars said thieves stole the silver 2015 sedan from a Hallam home.
Dandenong CFA extinguished the burning car in Tomas Murrell Crescent about 9.30pm on 21 August.
Det Sen Const Lavars said it was completely destroyed, and urged any witnesses to come forward.
