Man wanted over sex assault

WITNESSES to a Dandenong sexual assault are urged to come forward.
Sexual Crime Squad detectives have made an appeal for public assistance and released CCTV images from the 21 August incident.
They said a woman was sexually assaulted about 1am on the eastern corner of Lonsdale and Langhorne streets.
Detectives are looking for a man of African descent, aged about 19 years and about 193 centimetres tall.
He was wearing a grey beanie, black jacket, denim jeans and black Nike runners at the time of the assault and was carrying a clear glass bottle.
Police are hoping to speak to another youth, possibly named Jordan, who they believe witnessed the assault.
He was described as Caucasian and aged between 14 and 17 years with brown or blond hair.
Detectives said he was wearing a jacket with a hood and a baseball cap.
They would also like to speak to a number of people who stopped near the intersection and assisted the victim.
