Police are appealing to help from the public to find those responsible for a street robbery in Noble Park on Wednesday 22 June.
The victim, who was studying photography, was taking photos with a new camera about 3.10pm as he walked home from Yarraman train station.
Police said a man approached from behind and grabbed the camera and a Louis Vuitton bag the victim was carrying over his shoulder.
He tried to hold onto his bag but a second man put his hands over the victim’s face and pulled him to the ground.
The first man ran off with the camera and bag and the second man soon followed.
They both left the scene in a white car.
The first man was thought to be Caucasian and aged between 20 and 30 years with a skinny build and blond or greying hair.
The second man was perceived to be of Asian appearance with a medium build and short dark hair, and was shorter than the first man.
Investigators believe a number of people were in the area at the time of the robbery and are appealing for them to come forward.
