Armed robbery at Aldi

By Casey Neill

Men armed with a machete and golf club robbed a Springvale South supermarket of $4000.
They were wearing gloves, long-sleeved clothing and face masks when they entered the Aldi on Heatherton Road about 8.30pm on Thursday 25 August.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Tony Lavars said the armed pair demanded two staff members hand over money from cash registers.
They were seen leaving in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information about the incident or the vehicle’s whereabouts.
