Thieves get away with car, generator

A family of four slept through a break-in at their home in Olive Street, Dandenong.
Thieves used a black-handled kitchen knife to cut the flywire on the rear laundry window and enter the house about 3.30am on Tuesday 13 December.
They took keys to a Toyota Aurion from the kitchen bench, then forced open the rear kitchen sliding door and cut through flywire to exit.
The thieves entered a bungalow on the property and stole a Ryobi generator, then left in the victim’s car.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information.
