Passing through? Here’s $1m

Two Dandenong visitors walked out of the suburb with a million-dollar ticket.
The married couple bought a QuickPick from the Dandenong Plaza Lotto store on Wednesday 15 March and on Thursday learnt that they’d won the $1 million division one prize.
“Fantastic! We can own a home! Pay all the bills!” the husband said.
“It’s even better than that. I really couldn’t have asked for this to happen at a better time in my life.”
The couple, who wish to remain anonymous, regularly enter Tatts draws.
“It will make a very big difference to us,” he said.
“It’s been the best day! I always said this would happen one day. I had a feeling for a long, long time and I came close quite a few times.
“We don’t have a house, so we would like to buy our first one. It’s absolutely fantastic.
“We’ve got quite a few family members who we’d like to help, too.”
Dandenong Plaza Lotto owner George Zheng said he felt like his store was very lucky.
“Particularly since these winners travelled a long way and happened to get the winning QuickPick numbers here,” he said.
“We wish them all the very best with their $1 million windfall!
“Not long ago in February we sold three division one winning shares in a group syndicate worth more than $37,000 each.
“So fingers crossed we can deliver division one again soon.”
