A bicycle-riding bandit allegedly struck a Springvale hardware store five times.
Police are searching for the man, who they say entered the Springvale Road shop, concealed items under his clothing and left the store on a bike.
The first raid was on Sunday 22 January and the stolen items are valued at more than $1200.
Police released CCTV images of a man they believe might be able to assist in their inquiries.
He is Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late thirties to early forties and 185 centimetres tall with a medium build and dark hair.
It is also believed he might have a tattoo on his left forearm.
