‘Gansters’ throw Molotov cocktails

By Casey Neill

“Gangsters” threw three Molotov cocktails at a Keysborough home following an early-morning clash with the resident.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Acting Sergeant Dean Hedge said the victim, 34, told police that three men in ski masks were casing the College Crescent house about 4am on Sunday 25 June.
He told police that they walked up his driveway and “indicated they were gangsters”.
A confrontation allegedly occurred, during which the victim damaged the vehicle the trio arrived in.
More people then arrived at the address on motorcycles, the victim told police.
Det Acting Sgt Hedge said that about 7.15am, the victim alleged, the men returned and threw three ignited Molotov cocktails at the front of the house.
He rushed out and extinguished the fires, which left scorch marks on the house.
Det Acting Sgt Hedge appealed for anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
