Christmas carols to give good cheer

Lock it in – an evening of Christmas carols will hit Harmony Square on Friday 15 December.
Families are invited to celebrate the festive season at the 70th annual Greater Dandenong Carols by Candlelight, now dubbed Carols in Harmony Square.
The night will include performances and interactive activities, from roving entertainers to workshops and singalongs.
There’ll be food on offer, a market filled with Christmas gift ideas, and a visit from the man in red himself.
Greater Dandenong Council will present this year’s event after the Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce said it couldn’t afford to keep running the 69-year-old event.
Entry to the event will be free. The festivities will kick off at 6.30pm and wrap up at 9.30pm.
Harmony Square is at 225 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong.
