Early Anzac service

By Casey Neill

Greater Dandenong’s Freemasons are holding an early Anzac Day service for the community.
The group is particularly keen for current and ex-service men and women to attend the ceremony at 10am on Wednesday 18 April.
A light lunch will follow, with the day’s events to conclude about 2pm.
Worshipful Master of the Keysborough St Andrews Daylight Lodge, Colin Rimington, said a Grand Lodge team would perform the ceremony.
“They’ve performed these ceremonies right across the world in cathedrals and churches,” he said.
“It’s a very colourful ceremony.
“We’ve inviting the community at large to attend.”
It will take place at the South Eastern Masonic Centre, at Greens and Perry roads in Keysborough.
Mr Rimington invited anyone who required a seat for the service to call him by Friday 13 April.
