Police are trying to identify a car torched in Dandenong South.
A passer-by reported seeing the vehicle on fire on Glasscocks Road, close to the Westernport Highway, about 4.30am on Wednesday 11 April.
The Cranbourne CFA attended and extinguished the fire.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Tony Lavars said the blaze completely destroyed the vehicle and it was yet to be identified.
He urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or the CIU on 9767 7444.
