Building evacuated in Dandenong

 Police evacuated a building in Thomas Street, Dandenong, over what is believed to be reports of a suspicious package.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman confirmed police were called to the scene about 10.30am on Wednesday 17 April.
She said officers cleared the scene at 2.30pm and that no offence was detected.
She could not comment further on what sparked the call-out or which police units were involved.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the scene on stand-by about 11.40am.
She said no treatment was required.
