Sex pest targeting teens

Police are hunting a man who exposed himself to teens in Springvale South.

Dandenong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are appealing for public help following three wilful and obscene exposure incidents in Burden Park.

The victims, aged 13 to 15 years, were all walking through the park between 4pm and 4.30pm when the man approached, exposed himself and committed an indecent act in front of them.

The first incident occurred in November last year, the second in April and the third on Tuesday 12 June.

Following the most recent instance, the man was last seen walking along Janine Road, Springvale South.

Investigators released an image of a man they believe could assist with their inquiries.

The man is perceived to be Asian, with long black hair and a heavy build.

He was wearing a grey windcheater, black tracksuit pants with two white stripes at the ankles, and black shoes with white soles.

Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au with any information.
