In what’s believed to be a state first, Wooranna Park Primary School unveiled an inclusive Koorie T-shirt as part of its uniform on 21 February.
The T-shirt was designed by student Mark, pictured with principal Ray Trotter, Greater Dandenong mayor Jim Memeti and the school council’s Thay-Horn Yim.
The design, including the school’s traditional orange, tells the story of the community coming together as one.
