By Cameron Lucadou-Wells

TWO men have been charged after one was found with a shotgun hidden down his pants during a police intercept of a car in Dandenong South last Wednesday.

Detective Senior Constable Nick Lamb, of Greater Dandenong CIU, said one of the men had a concealed shotgun and ammunition on him when police stopped the car at the intersection of Hammond Road and Dandenong Bypass just after 2am.

Police say they also found knuckledusters, ecstacy tablets, amphetamines and cannabis in the car.

A 24-year-old Dandenong man was charged with firearm and ammunition offences, three counts of resisting police and possession of an amphetamine.

A 31-year-old Frankston man was charged with drug and weapon offences.
