Unlicensed Doveton 'drink-driver' charges boys $10 for lift

By CAMERON LUCADOU-WELLS

A DOVETON man is expected to be charged with drink-driving after being allegedly intercepted while giving four teenage boys a lift to a party for $10.

Police say they pulled over the 30-year-old driver on Robinson Street, Dandenong about 9.40pm on Saturday, and noticed the four boys drinking alcohol in the car.

The boys allegedly told police the man offered them a lift for $10. His blood-alcohol test gave a reading of 0.184.

Police say the man will be charged on summons with drink-driving and unlicensed driving.
