Dandenong bomb scare: 'Commercial explosives' taken from Potter St unit

UPDATE:  Residents in Potter Street, Dandenong were evacuated due to a bomb scare on Thursday morning.

The police’s bomb disposal unit removed several ”commercial explosives” from a unit after a ”suspicious device” was discovered by police officers about 9am, a spokeswoman said.

Residents in the block of units were evacuated and a 47-year-old man has been arrested, she said.
