THE Dandenong District Cricket Association Turf 1 premier will be decided this weekend after rain forced the grand final into its reserve days.

The first day of the grand final between Mordialloc and Buckley Ridges could get through only a few overs as rain on Saturday left puddles throughout the Keysborough Reserve outfield. The Ridges were 2-16 when play stopped on the first day with Greg Todd and Dan Watson continuing to 2-83 yesterday.

All other turf and synthetic grades were also washed out on Saturday and were to be completed this Saturday and Sunday with 180 overs needing to be played. In Turf 2 Cranbourne was 160 all out against Lyndale at Alex Nelson Reserve with the Dales 1-18.
