Fake police uncovered

POLICE seized drugs, weapons and emergency lights in Dingley Village on 10 July.
They worked alongside Sheriff’s officers to action 715 warrants totalling more than $200,000 at a Garden Boulevard home shortly after 4pm.
They found and seized a hydroponic cannabis crop during a search of the property and other drugs, conducted energy devices, red and blue lights, sirens and a PA system.
Police charged a 31-year-old Dingley Village man with drugs and weapons offences, impersonating a member of the police force, hindering police and resisting arrest.
They charged a 30-year-old Aspendale Gardens woman with drug offences, hindering police and resisting arrest.
Both were bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 2 October.
