Two arrested as police seize drugs and weapons in Springvale, Clayton South raids

TWO men have been charged with drug and weapons offences after police raided two homes in Springvale and Clayton South last Thursday.

Police from Greater Dandenong’s tasking unit found methylamphetamine (otherwise known as ice), amphetamines, prescription drugs and a double-edged sword which is a prohibited weapon.

The raided homes were at Princes Highway, Springvale and Oakes Avenue, Clayton South.

The two Clayton South men, aged 35 and 39, were charged with drug possession, trafficking and weapons offences. 

They were bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on September 9.
