Fire crews,including Noble Park CFA’s Ian Grace, Aaron Yates and Andrew South, are urging households to change their smoke alarm batteries this Sunday, coinciding with the end of daylight saving. First lieutenant Michael Selemba said most fatal house fires occurred in winter and a working smoke alarm gave early warning to evacuate.Volunteer firefighters are needed at Noble Park CFA.
