Man hurt after car hits house

A MAN was rushed to The Alfred hospital in a serious but stable condition after a car smashed into a house in Dandenong North on Saturday.
Dandenong Country Fire Authority was called to a house in Outlook Drive at 3.45am on Saturday, 21 July and found a man trapped in a car.
Fire officers said the man suffered serious head and facial injuries.
Paramedics arrived to stabilise the man and he was rushed to The Alfred.
Fire officers said it appeared the car hit a tree on the nature strip before crashing into the house.
The house suffered damage to its brickwork but fire officers said the damage could not be seen from inside the house.
A woman was asleep inside the house at the time of the crash.
