NEW breathalysers in two Dandenong venues will help improve road safety in more ways than one.
The TAC funded the machines and Rotary Club of Dandenong South East installed them at Dandenong Club on Heatherton Road and at national basketball hub Dandenong Stadium on Stud Road.
Drinkers will pay $2 to check their blood alcohol concentration and Rotary will use the cash for road safety initiatives.
The program has support from City of Greater Dandenong and Dandenong police, and five more venues are interested in getting involved.
Rotary Club of Dandenong South East will next month apply to the TAC for five more machines.
