Marg leaves treasured memories

By CAM LUCADOU-WELLS

GREATER Dandenong and the Journal lost one of their stalwarts on Tuesday.
Marg Stork, 91, had been penning stories and columns about the region’s people and happenings for the newspapers since 1940.
Crowned as one of the City of Greater Dandenong’s Living Treasures, Ms Stork was the consummate social butterfly who was loved by a wide network of friends, colleagues and contacts.
She died after a short illness at McCullough House, Clayton.
She is deeply missed by her former colleagues.

The Journal recorded a video-interview with Ms Stork and her former editor John Woods in late 2012.
In this excerpt, they relive some of Ms Stork’s most memorable stories.
