Advice from employers

YOUNG jobseekers can get advice from employers at a forum in Dandenong next month.
The South East Local Learning and Employment Network (SELLEN) will hold a Migrant Youth Employment Forum.
A panel of employers will answer questions from jobseekers about how to make themselves more employable.
There’ll be representatives from National Australia Bank, Bunnings, Woolworths and more.
SELLEN partnership broker Jennifer Ebdon said a mini expo would follow.
“The young people can engage directly with the employers,” she said.
“There’ll also be some stalls that can assist the young jobseekers with the next stage of their job-seeking journey.”
The forum will be at Drum Theatre, corner Lonsdale and Walker streets, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Tuesday 2 September.
Entry to the forum is free and refreshments will be provided.
Attendees can text their full name and the number of people attending to 0438 510 840.
Call SELLEN on 9794 6921 or contact South East LLEN on Facebook for more information.
