Park light-up

BEAUTIFUL leafy Dandenong Park will once again play host to the 67th annual Carols by Candlelight this Christmas.
The community is invited to light a candle and come together to enjoy live music, festivities, food stalls and even a much-anticipated visit from Santa.
This special event is a great opportunity to gather with loved ones, to relax and to celebrate the holidays in one of the city’s finest outdoor precincts.
The Greater Dandenong Band’s talented local musicians will provide the musical backdrop to this evening of celebration and song, which will also feature children’s entertainment identities The Workers.
So, grab a rug, a candle and a twilight picnic and begin the Christmas season in good company with the family, friends and neighbours.
For those who can’t make it to the park, there’s no need to worry – they can watch the carols streamed live to the big screen at Civic Square.
Carols by Candlelight will be held on Friday 19 December at Dandenong Park Pultney Street, Dandenong.
