Bus stop pervert strikes twice

A SEXUAL deviant has struck twice in two weeks, targeting same 17-year-old girl at the same Springvale bus stop.
In the first incident the victim and her sister were waiting at a bus stop on Springvale Road about 7.30am on 17 January when the man arrived.
He moved close to the teenager, stared at her intently before putting his hand down his pants and committing a lewd act.
He continued until the bus arrived a few minutes later and the two girls departed.
The teen was at the bus stop about the same time two weeks later when the same man approached her.
He again put his hand down his pants and positioned himself in front of her so she couldn’t avoid seeing him.
As the bus approached he exposed himself to the victim.
The girl took a photo of the man before the bus left.
Detectives from the Dandenong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) are investigating and released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist them.
He is described as about 183 centimetres tall with an athletic build and was wearing a blue T-shirt, black cap, black shorts and black runners during the second incident.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au with any information.
