City strategy open for comment

PUBLIC meetings to help shape the future use of open space in Greater Dandenong will be held late this month.
The City of Greater Dandenong council is working on its Open Space Strategy and needs residents’ input into how it should improve public parks for the future. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday 29 April at 6pm at the Dandenong Library, Stuart Street, Dandenong.
Two meetings will be held the following night on 30 April, one at the Paddy O’Donoghue Centre in Buckley Street, Noble Park, at 2pm, and the other at the Springvale council offices on Springvale Road, Springvale, at 6pm.
Every meeting is open to the public, but those who can not attend are welcome to submit their thoughts to the council in writing.
Forward submissions to the City of Greater Dandenong’s strategic planner, Chrisanya Martin, via email to cmarti@cgd.vic.gov.au, or post to the City of Greater Dandenong at PO Box 200, Dandenong 3175.
