Fire may be arson: police

DANDENONG firefighters helped extinguish a blaze in Langwarrin on Sunday that police believe was suspiciously lit.
The fire broke out at at 1.40am on Sunday 20 April.
Police said a passing motorist noticed a main shed on fire when he drove past a Duiker Court building supply store.
He contacted emergency services who battled the blaze and later surveyed the site for evidence of the fire’s source.
Police said investigators are treating the blaze as suspicious and arson chemists were also on the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a person or people acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the fire to come forward.
