Cops’ life-saving ‘charge’

By CAM LUCADOU-WELLS

POLICE and Protective Services Officers used a defibrillator and CPR to revive a heart-attack victim in central Dandenong on Tuesday 15 June.
A member of the public alerted the PSOs to the 73-year-old Narre Warren man’s plight on Foster Street about 10.20am.
The PSOs assisted the unconscious man and called in Dandenong police officers, who brought a defibrillator to the scene.
After the officer’s first-aid treatment, the man regained consciousness.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital in a stable condition.
