THE redeveloped Edinburgh Reserve pavilion will be officially opened on Tuesday.
The project involved the refurbishment of two existing pavilions, which were combined to create a single pavilion with improved change rooms, shower and toilet amenities and a multipurpose space.
The pavilion will be officially opened by Sports Minister John Eren.
The opening will also coincide with a community sports fun day hosted by the City of Greater Dandenong in partnership with Sandown Cobras All Abilities
Sports.
This is a free event from 10am to 2pm and is open to all ages and abilities.
“This is a great testament to the commitment council has to improving our sporting facilities throughout our municipality, which in turn will improve the health and wellbeing of our community who take park in the many sporting activities the city has on offer,“ Mayor Shaun O’Reilly said.
