Make your contribution

NOMINATIONS are now open for next year’s Greater Dandenong Australia Day Awards.
The awards recognise the exceptional contribution people in the community make to everyday life.
There’ll be awards presented to the citizen, young leader (under 25), volunteer, sportsperson and corporate citizen of the year, as well as leadership and multicultural awards.
A community panel will select the winners, who will receive their awards at a community celebration on Australia Day, 26 January.
Mayor Sean O’Reilly called on residents to consider nominating friends, colleagues and neighbours.
“There are so many people who make Greater Dandenong a more welcoming, caring and inclusive place to be,” he said.
“We want to recognise and celebrate all those unsung heroes.”
Nominations close on Friday 30 October. Visit www.greaterdandenong.com for nomination forms and more information.
