THIEVES with trucking experience have stolen a $120,000 tipper from a Dandenong business.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Bree Jarvis said they made off with the Mack Metro Tipper from Commercial Tippers on Dandenong-Hastings Road about 3.55am on Monday 12 October.
The owner told her that the truck was difficult to drive and required some experience to handle.
“He was quite surprised that that particular truck was stolen,” Det Sen Const Jarvis said.
The truck’s registration is WJW 068 and green and yellow signage on the driver’s side door reads Commercial Tippers.
CCTV on the site captured two people wearing dark clothing – one with a cap and hoodie – around the time of the theft.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information.
