A STOLEN car has been torched in a Springvale car park.
The blue, mid-1990s Holden Commodore sedan was beside the railway line, in Newcomen Road near Erickson Street.
A passer-by found it alight about 1.34am on Monday 2 November and called the CFA.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, but the car was totally burnt out.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton said police had forensically examined the car but so far had been unable to identify its owner.
