An armed thief had cash, not burgers, on his mind when he robbed a Dandenong fast food restaurant.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Riley Wesley said he entered the Hungry Jacks at Stud Road and Clow Street armed with a baseball bat about 7pm on Tuesday 6 September.
He jumped the front counter and demanded two staff members open cash registers.
Sen Const Wesley said the thief took off on foot with about $300 and was last seen on Clow Street,
He was described as African in appearance, had covered his face and was wearing a grey hooded jumper with the word ‘Detroit’ on the back.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information.
