Grinches steal Christmas

By Cam Lucadou-Wells

BURGLARS stole wallets, car keys and a phone off a coffee table as two victims slept in the lounge room of a Dandenong house early on Christmas Eve.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives say the intruders fled from the Carlton Road home after one of the victims woke up and called out about 2am.
The intruders were seen driving away in an allegedly stolen 2002 silver Holden Astra sedan, which was involved in a crash in Endeavour Hills later that morning.
Three males described as African in appearance were seen running from the car after it crashed at a roundabout on James Cook and Daniel Solander drives in Endeavour Hills about 3am.
One of the males was allegedly wearing a white jacket.
