Seized car torched by vandals

A vehicle seized by police was torched in a Dandenong South storage yard.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Riley Wesley said the vandals entered the Kirkham Road site about 4.30am on Tuesday 21 February.
They forced open the back door to the main storage shed and targeted a silver Jeep.
Police brought the vehicle into the tow yard earlier that night.
Sen Const Wesley said the fire destroyed the Jeep despite the best efforts of CFA crews.
He appealed for anyone with information about the fire to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
