Q and A with Ngan Harwood

 Podiatrist Ngan ‘Kim’ Harwood
What is something people don’t know about you?
I’m partially deaf in the left ear and am short-sighted.
What was your most memorable moment?
I have to name two moments as they’re both equally memorable – my wedding day and the birth of my children.
What would your last meal be?
A big bowl of pho soup (Vietnamese rice noodle soup).
What event, past, present or future, would you like to witness?
I would love to see my Dad again. He died when I was two years old and I don’t have any memory of him.
I would also like to be present at the birth of my first grandchild.
What is your favourite television show?
Trust Me I’m a Doctor.
What is your favourite book?
Wild Swans by Jung Chan.
What six guests, dead or alive, would you invite to a dinner party?
I immediately thought of my family but then I see them every day.
So other than them, I would invite Kitty Flannagan, Barack Obama, Michael Jackson, Kathrine Switzer, Malala Yousafzai and my husband.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
I committed an embarrassing social faux pas when I asked someone if they were pregnant when they weren’t at all!
At school I…
…was a quiet achiever – shy but very competitive.
What was your first or best concert?
The first and only concert I’ve been to was to see Kylie Minogue.
My colleague convinced me to go since she idolises her.
I’m not a fan of going to concerts normally.
