Delays hit commuters

The Pakenham train line was suspended between Oakleigh and Westall for nearly two hours on Saturday after person hit by a train at Clayton on Saturday 27 October.

Emergency services attended arrived shortly after the incident occurred at 3.30pm, with buses replacing train services.

A Metro Trains spokesman said passengers from the train involved in the incident were disembarked from the train at Clayton Station.

Police gave clearance for normal services to resume shortly after 5.15pm.
