POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding an assault in Noble Park this week.
At About 12.10am on 20 September, a 27-year-old Noble Park man was walking on Corrigan Road, near the intersection of Lightwood Road, when he was approached by a group of seven Asian men.
Police said the Noble Park man was struck to the head and assaulted by one of the men.
The rest of the group hit and kicked him until he fell to the ground.
They then stole his mobile phone and $300 in cash before leaving the area.
The group are described as being aged between 18 and 22, and it is believed three of the men were on bicycles.
